What Can We Do For You?

Home Ownership

Otsego-Antrim Habitat for Humanity builds simple, decent, affordable homes in partnership with those who need a better place to live, who would like to purchase their home but are unable to qualify for a traditional home mortgage. You should be ready to accept the responsibility of being a homeowner.

How It Works!

Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Otsego-Antrim Habitat for Humanity (OAHFH) builds and/or rehabilitates simple, decent houses alongside of our future (homeowner) partner families.

Critical Home Repair

Habitat selects partner families based on income, need and willingness to partner. Habitat affiliates use volunteer labor and donated materials to keep costs low and take no profit for their services.

Aging in Place

Habitat is dedicated to help elderly persons preserve their independence by providing ‘Critical Repairs’ to their house so they can safely stay in their home longer than they might have been able to without the repairs.

A Brush With Kindness

The program consists of multi-day projects of painting, planting, or doing light “fix-up” work in our community. Habitat partners with residents to improve the appearance of their neighborhood, strengthening connections within the community and helping to preserve affordable housing stock.

Fair Housing

Fair housing laws prohibit discrimination in any activity relating to the sale or rental of dwellings, financing or insuring housing, the terms and conditions related to housing, or harassment that is based on your race, color, religion, disability, familial status, national origin or sex.
